Saudi Arabia is looking to implement a method to increase government revenue. The Royal decree number (m/71) dated 6/11/1437h stipulates that an occupancy charge of a maximum 10% can be imposed on the daily rates of short-term accommodations across the Kingdom in order to be given to MOMRA and distributed to the country’s municipalities. The fee aims to help support the development and maintenance of municipals services. As such a solution is needed help these accommodations and their financial managers to self-report their occupancy rates, room rates, property size, and daily occupancy. MoMRA administrators will be able to calculate the property occupancy fee revenues and generate basic queries using the website as well
